1. Eligibility

1. Renter must be at least 18 years old.
2. Renter agrees to provide accurate contact and payment information.
3. Owner reserves the right to refuse service at their discretion.

2. Rental Period

1. Rental begins at the agreed pickup or delivery time and ends at the agreed return time.
2. Late returns may incur additional fees.
3. Extensions are subject to Owner approval and availability.

3. Payment

1. Full payment is due before the rental period begins unless otherwise agreed.
2. Security deposits may be required and will be refunded after inspection of the Equipment.
3. Payments are non-refundable once the rental period has started.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

1. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the rental start time may receive a full refund.
2. Cancellations within 24 hours may be partially refunded or non-refundable at Owner’s discretion.
3. No refunds will be issued for early returns, weather conditions, or unused rental time unless otherwise stated.

5. Equipment Use

The Renter agrees to:

1. Use the Equipment only for lawful tennis practice purposes.
2. Operate the Equipment according to provided instructions.
3. Use only appropriate tennis balls and charging accessories.
4. Keep the Equipment protected from rain, water, extreme heat, theft, and misuse.
5. Not modify, disassemble, repair, or tamper with the Equipment.

The Renter must not:

1. Allow unauthorized persons to use the Equipment.
2. Use the Equipment on unsuitable surfaces or in unsafe environments.
3. Transport the Equipment improperly.

6. Pickup, Delivery & Return

1. Renter is responsible for timely pickup and return unless delivery is arranged.
2. Equipment must be returned in substantially the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.
3. Owner may charge cleaning fees if Equipment is returned excessively dirty.

7. Damage, Loss & Theft

1. Renter assumes full responsibility for the Equipment during the rental period.
2. Renter agrees to pay for repair or replacement costs resulting from damage, loss, theft, negligence, misuse, or unauthorized use.
3. Owner reserves the right to determine repair or replacement costs based on market rates.

8. Battery & Charging

1. Equipment must only be charged using approved charging equipment.
2. Renter agrees not to overcharge, improperly store, or expose batteries to water or excessive heat.
3. Any battery damage caused by misuse may result in additional charges.

9. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Use of the Equipment involves inherent risks associated with sports and physical activity.

By using the Equipment, the Renter:

1. Assumes all risks of injury, property damage, or other losses arising from use of the Equipment.
2. Releases and holds harmless the Owner from any claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, costs, or expenses related to the rental or use of the Equipment, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

10. Indemnification

Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or legal expenses arising from:

1. Renter’s use of the Equipment,
2. violation of this Agreement,
3. injury to persons or damage to property during the rental period.

11. Weather & Outdoor Conditions

1. Renter is responsible for monitoring weather conditions.
2. Equipment should not be used in rain or wet conditions unless specifically designed for such use.
3. Owner is not responsible for interruptions caused by weather or court availability.

12. Reservation Changes

Owner may cancel or reschedule reservations due to maintenance, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the Renter will receive either:

1. a refund, or
2. rescheduling options, at Owner’s discretion.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Acceptance

By renting or using the Equipment, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
